The summer's light poured in
Driven to begin again
Feel the closing of a day
A setting sun, tell no one
Began to chase the light
Pursued intently by the night
The worried sorrow in their eyes
Don't they know this will change their lives

Chorus 1:
We could capture the sun
Give the light to everyone

Verse 2:
Shooting fast into the sky
I hear their distant violet cry
They're oh so far away
Wishing I would stay
Drifting toward the sun
I readied my EHX gun
As we started to pull
They screamed "No you fool"
